Dian Fossey

Dian's Childhood

 

Dian Fossey was born January 16th, 1932. She grew up with her mother and stepfather. When she was six, she started horseback riding. Then when she was in highschool, she got a letter so she could join the riding team there. Although she loved animals, she was not allowed to have pets other than a goldfish. When it died, she was devastated.
